Happy Friday! How was your week? We booked ourselves a little staycation for the first couple of days, so it's been a nice and short work week for me.
This essay from Renee about why she's breaking up with her pencil skirt really hit home with me. She talks about pieces of clothing that make you feel like your body needs to be different, and here's a reminder we shouldn't need to hear (But oh, how we need to hear it): clothing shouldn't make you feel like your body is wrong!
An increasing number of clothing brands are disclosing information about their supply chains. It's a step in the right direction, though we still have a long way to go. Join me for Fashion Revolution week at the end of April when I (and lots of other folks!) will be asking brands, "Who made my clothes?"
I've been listening to this song on repeat lately! I love Laura Marling and this song she did with Johnny Flynn is just breathtaking.
Michal and I have been listening to Harry Potter on Audible in the last little while, and I cannot recommend this enough. When I was a kid, my parents would rent the CDs from the library any time we went on any kind of road trip, so it's super nostalgic to be listening to it again.
I hope you have a great weekend!
